When the TurmQuartier processes personal data, this means it collects, stores, transports or deletes it, or uses it in another form. Personal data means information on individuals who use this website to read up on the TurmQuartier’s services.

The following information provides an overview of which data the TurmQuartier processes when you visit this website and for which purpose.

III. How is your data processed when you visit this website?

1. Data needed to display the website and ensure its stabilityand security

If you are using the website purely for informational purposes, the following data is required and processed for technical purposes:

• The IP address of the terminal equipment you are using
• The name of the retrieved file
• Date and time of retrieval
• Volume of data transferred
• Retrieval status (successful / unsuccessful)
• Browser type, version and operating system you are using
• URL of the previously accessed website, if applicable (referrer URL)

The aforementioned data is processed in order to take pre-contractual steps or to perform a contractual service in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data can also be processed to safeguard Sparkasse’s legitimate interests on the basis of a weighing of interests in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. In the event of unlawful use of this website, this data can also be used to resolve any relevant legal violations.

Your Sparkasse/TurmQuartier will also analyse this information for statistical purposes and to improve this website, without creating personal user profiles in the process.

2. Using cookies and analytics services

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small units of information stored on your terminal equipment. They enable users to navigate the website more easily and use certain features. Above all else, they enable users to reuse this information at a later date. Alongside these cookies, which are required for technical and functional purposes, cookies are also used for other purposes, such as targeted advertising. 3. Creating web analytics with Matomo

Your Sparkasse uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), the open-source web analytics service, on this website. All statistical data are collected and processed on Sparkasse-owned systems here. We store the following data in this process:

• The IP address of the user’s system. This is also sent to the web server
• The accessed website
• The previous website that referred the user to the accessed website (referrer)
• The subpages accessed from the accessed website
• The time spent on the website
• How often the website is accessed

If you have activated the Do Not Track feature in your web browser, you are telling websites that they should not count the hits. Our analytics software respects this request and will not count these website hits.

4. Links to route planning tools / Google Maps

In order to plan routes via satellite navigation tools, we use links that open Google Maps in a new window in your web browser or that take you to the Google Maps app on your smartphone. The destination address data integrated into the link then enables an appropriate route to be planned, away from the Turmquartier.de website, in Google Maps, using the visitor’s default settings.

IV. Who receives your data?

Your data will only be passed on to third parties if you give us your consent or if there is a legal obligation to do so.

Under these conditions, recipients of personal data would most notably be:

• Law enforcement agencies
• Other companies within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe (Savings Banks Finance Group)

The service providers we instruct may also receive this data, as long as they comply with Sparkasse’s special confidentiality requirements. In particular, these service providers may be companies providing IT, consultation, sales and marketing services. The service providers will then sign appropriate agreements that comply with data protection law.

V. When is your data deleted?

Once the data stated in this privacy policy is no longer needed for its original purpose, it will be deleted. The only time this does not apply is if it needs to be (temporarily) processed for other purposes. If the storage period deviates from the standard for certain services, this will be indicated in the description of the respective service.

VI. Will your data be sent to a third country or an international organisation?

As a basic rule, data that the TurmQuartier receives through visits to this website will not be sent to international organisations or third countries (countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)).

If you lodge an objection, your personal data will no longer be processed by the TurmQuartier, unless the TurmQuartier can prove compelling, legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms. Or the processing is used to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

2. Objecting to your data being processed for the TurmQuartier’s direct advertising purposes

The TurmQuartier will process your personal data for direct advertising in individual cases. You have the right to object to your relevant personal data being processed for the purposes of this type of advertising at any time; this also applies to profiling, provided that it is associated with this kind of direct advertising.

If you object to processing for the purposes of direct advertising, the TurmQuartier will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
